The Camarilla Era Sol, Nosferatu, RIP First Prince of Athens. Sol was killed by a Sabbat Lasombra named Antonio during his short reign. Antonio was then in turn killed by Patrick Reval. Patrick Reval, Gangrel, RIP Second Prince of Athens. Voted out by the Primogen Council about 6 months after taking the throne. During the Sabbat take over of Athens, Reval joined the Sabbat ranks. Later, he was killed by the group efforts of Redemption, Salvation, Broken Tooth, Alfa, and Omega; all Sabbat packs, under the assumption that he was a traitor. Geoff Halford, Ventrue Third Prince of Athens. Halford disappeared almost two years into his reign as Prince. His current whereabouts are unknown, but most believe that he left the city of his own free will. Philip, Toreador, RIP Fourth Prince of Athens. During his short reign as Prince, he was declared Caitiff by his own clan. Philip was slain by Leyland Prophet and his lackeys during the only gather held at the Botanical Gardens. Lucy Bernard, Toreador Fifth Prince of Athens. Lucy gave up power shortly after taking it. It is believed that Lucy left Athens during the Sabbat incursion. Father Grimm, Nosferatu, RIP Sixth Prince of Athens. Grimm is most well known for his rule by might. He utilized multiple sheriffs in order to try to reign in the unruly citizens of Athens. Grimm's current whereabouts are unknown. He never returned from fighting a Demon in the sewers. He is thought to be dead, though many believe it was not the Demon that was the cause of his demise. Michael Alders, Gangrel Seventh Prince of Athens. During his reign, Alders came under heavy pressure, but he was able to outlast Ellis's failed Praxis. Alders vanished when the Sabbat took over Athens. His current whereabouts are unknown. The Primogen Council The Primogen Council took control of the city after Alders parted ways with ruling Athens. Though this period lasted for only a few months, John Fitzconner, the acting "voice" of the Council, gained considerable favor during this time with his peers on the Council. Lucy Bernard, Toreador Eighth Prince of Athens. With the rule of the Council over, Lucy once again accepted the role of Prince. Like before, Lucy gave up power shortly after taking it. Most believe that she did not want to rule either time. John Fitzconner, Ventrue, RIP Ninth Prince of Athens. Fitzconner was another short-lived Prince. It is believed that the rumors of his lack of personal power led to his eventual downfall. Fitzconner was slain during Ellis's Praxis. Ellis, Nosferatu, RIP Tenth Prince of Athens. Ellis was a strong fisted Prince who had attempted Praxis several times before succeeding. Ellis was slain by Razer in what started as a personal duel between the two of them. Razer, Brujah Eleventh Prince of Athens. Razer claimed control of the city of Athens after killing Ellis. Within an hour, Richard Warwick and Razer had slipped of into the sewers. When they returned, Warwick declared himself Prince of Athens. Of note, Razer claimed after joining the Sabbat, that he was the last Prince of Athens. Richard Warwick, Ventrue Twelfth and Final Prince of Athens. Warwick was Ellis's Seneschal who was disturbingly absent from Razer's attack on Ellis. His reign was short, as he gave the city up to the Sabbat in a ploy to put them on the defensive. Returned to Charlotte when the Sabbat finally overpowered the Camarilla.
Kilgrav, Tzimisce, RIP First and only Archbishop of Athens. Kilgrav was given control of the city of Athens, as well as several others, when the Sabbat took Athens. Kilgrav gave power to the Bishops of Athens to run the city, though he retained authority over the Bishops. Kilgrav was last seen boarding a plane for Mexico City shortly before the Sabbat lost Athens. His plane exploded over Athens just after take off. Valeric Romman, Brujah First Bishop of Athens. Valeric was met with much debate, though he was one of the key players in the Sabbat gaining control of Athens. Valeric became the victim of many political ploys by the influx of new Packs to the city. Travis Thorpe, Tzimisce Second Bishop of Athens. Took control from Valeric during Monomancy. Thorpe was in the Manse, the main meeting location of the Sabbat in Athens, when it collapsed. It is thought that Thorpe survived and left Athens of his own free will. Kalil daji Ramon, Assamite Third Bishop of Athens. Kalil stayed in the city after his entire pack left town. Kalil was the longest lasting Bishop of Athens. Kalil was eventually dragged from the city by his Templars and taken to Florida when the Giovanni took over the city.
Reiner Eichman, Toreador, RIP First Lord of Athens. Reiner was a man of few words. He was slain shortly after the Giovanni's reopening of Athens by the Nosferatu assasin Alexander. Howard Galt, Brujah, RIP Second Lord of Athens. Howard was originally in Athens during the time of Reval and Halford's reigns. Howard was the Brujah Elder then. After returning to Athens, he claims to have tried everything, including the Sabbat, and now says that he stands as an individual without a Sect. Howard is well known for his business like look and his ruffian attitude. In July of 2001, Howard, acting as Brujah Councilor, led a vote of no confidence in himself and shortly thereafter saw Don Javier replace him as Lord. Don Javier Cascada, Ventrue Third Lord of Athens. A compromise between the Camarilla and the Sabbat, Don Javier Cascada was selected as the new Lord following Howard's self removal campaign. Don shocked many, by declaring hours after being selected, that he would only be the Lord for short while; long enough to train his replacement. Cascada quickly became bored with the position of Lord and his attention to the city weaned. The council ousted him shortly after assuming the position. Azriel, Nosferatu, RIP Fourth Lord of Athens. Just how long Azriel was actually Lord of Athens is a mystery to this night. Shortly after his ascension, the former Sabbat Archbishop, Kilgrav, using his mastery of vicissitude, unknowingly to the city, replaced him. Kilgrav destroyed Azriel in this process. Kilgrav's trickery went unnoticed for months and everything seemed at ease in the city. Unfortunately for Kilgrav, his secret became known, and he was destroyed by the collective efforts of the all three sects in the city. Howard Galt, Brujah, RIP Fifth Lord of Athens. Almost immediately following the destruction of Kilgrav, Howard once again appeared in Athens, making a play to become Lord of the City. In a controversial vote, Howard barely defeated Talen to become Lord of the city once again. One month later, it fell into public knowledge that Howard was an active member of the Sabbat and had been for quite some time. The council, feeling it had been deceived, removed Howard as Lord and replaced him with the Nosferatu Talen. Howard remains in Athens and seems determined to protect his sect. Talen, Nosferatu, RIP Sixth Lord of Athens. Little is know of Talen, but his independent status and clean slate record made him the obvious choice to ascend to Lord. Talen's rule was a time of unrest. Sabbat and Camarilla openly fought, and it was during the reign of Talen that the Charter of Athens was struck down, and Talen was named Dictator-for-Unlife. This dictatorship lasted one month, after which Gaston LeFete claimed the city for the Camarilla.
Gaston LeFete, Tremere First Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. After maneuvering to have the Charter abolished, LeFete claimed the city as his domain and reestablished Camarilla rule bloodlessly. He solidified Camarilla control and drove the remaining Sabbat out or into hiding with his omnipresent bolts of flame. After he finished establishing the Camarilla control and quelling the Independent rabble-rousers, he willingly stepped down in favor of Nathaniel Harcourt. Nathaniel Harcourt, Toreador Second Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. After a number of secret meetings, Harcourt shocked the city's neonates by standing up and declaring Athens his domain, with LeFete as his sheriff. Many whisper that a strong, but genteel Prince can guide the city to a new, golden age. Of course, the last time the Camarilla had complete control over Athens, the city's inhabitants were regularly at each other's throats. Prince Harcourt fled the city after four months of rule, in which he managed to alienate almost the entire city. William Houston, Brujah Third Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. Filling the void left by Harcourt's sudden abdication, William Houston stepped forward as a strong, forceful Prince who believes in an effective administration. Within one month, his Seneschal was already performing most of the duties of the Prince. Within four, he was prepared to hand over the title to Wellington and become the Scourge. Reginald P. Wellington, II, Malkavian Fourth Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. Already performing most, if not all, of the duties of the Prince, and already perceived as such by most of the populace, the then-Seneschal Wellington claimed Athens as his domain in November 2003. With his imperious and know-it-all attitude and glaring lack of violent tendencies, this Prince is of quite a different cut than most of his predecessors. Perhaps this is the key of removing the "Curse of Athens Princes". Uhh, yeah...perhaps not. Prince Wellington finally snapped and went crazy in the middle of his own Elysium where he had to be put down and has been removed from Athens. Daniel DuChamps, Ventrue Fifth Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. Samantha Nash, Brujah Sixth Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. Caesar Genovese, Ventrue Seventh Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. Gaston LeFete, Tremere Eighth Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era. Shadow, Gangrel Nineth Prince of Athens in the Second Camarilla Era.
